As previous UMD hockey games and concerts grew over capacity, Duluth required an arena capable of holding greater audiences. Fortunately, in 2010 the beautiful AMSOIL Area met the demands of the roaring Bulldog crowds and artistic performances.
The area was built to promote excitement in fans allowing them to be part of the action. Designed to allow concessions to keep up with crowds and seating with a generous amount of legroom. AMSOIL Arena features fifteen luxury suites and a single large party suite. In 2013 AMSOIL Arena was named “the best stadium experience” in the United States and Canada by Stadium Journey.

250,000 sq feet allows plenty of spaces for exhibits, gorgeous ballrooms and many meeting rooms. This vast space has plenty of organized staff to assist finding the best room and pulling off the perfect event. In-house catering and exposition services department are also available.
