Presented by the Duluth Cross-Country Ski Club, the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour returns to Duluth for two inspiring nights of world-class outdoor films on Friday, January 9 and Saturday, January 10, 2026.

One of the most prestigious mountain film festivals in the world, the Banff World Tour showcases award-winning and audience-favorite films selected from more than 400 international submissions. Each evening features a unique lineup of short films that celebrate outdoor adventure, powerful storytelling, environmental exploration, and adrenaline-filled action sports from around the globe.

Doors open at 5:00 PM for general admission seating (first come, first seat selection), giving attendees time to explore outdoor gear displays, enjoy local beverages, enter gear raffles, and connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Films begin promptly at 7:00 PM.

With different films shown each night, guests are encouraged to attend both evenings for two distinct and unforgettable experiences. Whether you’re an avid adventurer or simply love compelling storytelling, this festival offers an exciting winter event for the Duluth community.
