The Duluth Dylan Fest is a week-long celebration of the music, art and history created or inspired by Bob Dylan. From art exhibits and Dylan-themed concerts, to Dylan trivia and educational lectures, it’s a dream come true for Dylan fans everywhere!
The 2023 Duluth Dylan Fest is set to take place from May 20-28, 2023, with primarily in-person events and a few livestream/zoom events. The festival will feature a wide range of activities and performances celebrating the life and work of Bob Dylan, a native of Duluth, Minnesota.
Saturday, May 20th
On Saturday, May 20th, the festival will kick off with the Forging Community Dylangate Event and Historic Armory and Self-guided Bob Dylan Sites in Duluth Tours, Heaven’s Door Bourbon and Whiskey Sampling Events, and the Highway 61 Revisited Radio Show. There will also be a Dylan Fest Kick-Off Party featuring music by Hard Rain – All Things Dylan.

On Sunday, May 21st, the festival will celebrate Robert Zimmerman Hibbing Day with a tour of the Dylan Monument at Hibbing High School, lunch at Sammy’s Pizza, and front yard music at Dylan’s childhood home. There will also be a John Bushey Memorial Lecture with Seth Rogovoy, author of Bob Dylan: Prophet Mystic Poet, held via Zoom.
