From start to finish, it’s an unforgettable celebration of speed, scenery, and community along one of Minnesota’s most iconic routes.
The NorthShore Inline Marathon is one of the longest-running and most respected inline skating events in the world, held each September along the scenic Highway 61 corridor from Two Harbors to Duluth, Minnesota. Since its founding in 1996, this point-to-point race has become a bucket list experience, drawing skaters with its rolling shoreline views of Lake Superior and the welcoming energy of the Duluth community. Over the years, NSIM has grown from a regional favorite into an internationally recognized event, featuring elite athletes, record-setting performances, and a full weekend of endurance sports that now includes running and rollerski races. Driven by dedicated volunteers and passionate participants who return year after year, the NorthShore Inline Marathon continues to celebrate competition, camaraderie, and the unmatched beauty of Minnesota’s North Shore. Join the celebration this year for the 30th anniversary, bring your friends, make lasting memories, and skate on.
