It’s been a Thanksgiving weekend tradition for over 40 years and the University of Minnesota Duluth will once again hold its annual “Skate with the Bulldogs” event at AMSOIL Arena.

The free event runs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and members of the Bulldog men’s team as well as Champ, the UMD mascot, will be on hand for pictures and autographs. Santa Claus is also scheduled to stop by. Admission to the event, which is being run in conjunction with the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation’s Skating Party, is free and will include prize giveaways.
