If the beautiful, warm weather hasn’t given it away – the amount of events happening Canal Park over the next few months has…summer is almost upon us! Here’s what’s happening in June in Canal Park.

Walk for Animals June 4th: Animal Allies will be hosting their 24th Annual Walk for Animals at Bayfront Festival Park on Saturday, June 4th! Register to walk or donate to help raise money for homeless pets. The event is free and open to the public!

 

Park Point Rummage Sale: The annual Park Point Rummage Sale is happening Saturday June 10th and Sunday June 11th. The event will have four miles of shopping and bargains to explore! Starting on the other side of the Aerial Lift Bridge, the Park Point Rummage Sale will have food available throughout the event and free parking will available on both sides of the street.

Grandma’s Marathon: With all the life and excitement that comes in Canal Park for Grandma’s Marathon, this weekend always feels like the official start to summer. This year, Grandma’s Marathon should be even more memorable as it celebrates its 40th anniversary of the race! From events, to lodging and food – check out our Grandma’s Marathon guide to make the most out of the weekend!

 

 

Park Point Art Fair: Head back to Park Point for the 46th Annual Art Fair June 25th and 26th. The Art Fair will have over 100 artists from around the Midwest. Free street parking will be available, and there will be food and live entertainment. The event is free, open to all ages and will go from 10AM to 5PM both days. Get out to Park Point and celebrate art and the community!
